As a Senior Programme Manager in the Strategy Office, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our organisation. We’re looking for someone who can streamline programme processes—ensuring they are effective without unnecessary complexity—while building trust and momentum across teams.

The Job

As a Senior Programme Manager, you will play a critical role in establishing, executing, structuring, and optimising project management practices across Novo Holdings. Your primary focus will be on ensuring exceptional project delivery, prioritizing initiatives based on business value, and driving programme management across Novo Holdings with an initial heavy weight on the current digital transformation.

The position will challenge your professional, academic, and intellectual capacity.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain and track a comprehensive project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities
  • Drive project execution - Specific setup on each project will differ, however, across all projects there will be an element of tracking process and ensuring a holistic project execution toolbox is used
  • Establish and manage a project management toolbox, standardising best practices across the organisation
  • Train internal stakeholders in project management methodologies and execution frameworks
  • Develop and maintain documentation, process standardisation, and knowledge sharing
  • Provide structured support to project owners in project scoping, design, and execution
  • Facilitate consultant engagements, ensuring efficient collaboration with external advisors
  • Communicate clear milestones, success factors, and risk assessments to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Act as a key partner to senior leadership in decision-making by providing transparency on project progress, priorities, and resource allocation

You will join our team of 4 people in our Strategy Office anchored within Finance and Operations. The team’s experience covers strategy development, economic research, investments and life science with background from top management consultancies. As part of your learning and development, you will receive continuous feedback from and engage in sparring with the team and stakeholders.

Academic & Professional Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a STEM-related field
  • Supplementary education in best-practice project and programme management frameworks (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Lean)
  • 10+ years of experience in project execution and programme management within the investment or consulting industry
  • Proven expertise in leading and navigating large-scale transformations in multi-stakeholder global environments
  • Preferred experience in digital transformation programme management
  • Thorough understanding of agile development processes and strong technical skills with an appreciation of large transformations. Ideally you have thrived in the space between IT and the business.
