Senior Project Manager – Team Leader, Retrofit & Upgrade

With a robust pipeline of projects, we need someone who can leverage both a strong technical background and a sharp commercial mindset to drive success from customer order through to final delivery. If you have a proactive approach to manage high-impact projects while mentoring and empowering a dedicated team, this role is perfect for you.

You will play an important role in:
The Retrofit & Upgrade department at MAN Energy Solutions offers a comprehensive range of products and solutions aimed at optimizing 2-stroke engines in operation. That includes providing customers with innovative solutions that lower running costs, enhance fuel savings, improve engine availability, and ensure compliance with modern emission regulations. By leveraging our extensive expertise and advanced technologies, we help our customers achieve greater efficiency and sustainability in their marine operations.

Your knowledge of the marine industry, combined with your strong project and people management skills on how to manage the team, customers and internal stakeholders and how to transform challenges into solutions is what will make you a success in this role.

You will:

• Drive project execution from order confirmation to final project delivery for select customers
• Plan, organize and guide the daily activities of the project management team  
• Drive knowledge sharing and skill development within the project management team
• Ensure the project management team meets its KPI’s and performance goals
• Identify and resolve cross-departmental issues, removing roadblocks to ensure the project management team can work efficiently
• Identify process gaps and improve the end-to-end execution through optimized templates, process, and tools

Welcome to the Product Execution, Retrofit & Upgrade department
You will be part of the Product Execution team. The project managers are executing all the orders we receive from the standard Retrofit & Upgrade product portfolio. We are a diverse team of skilled and dedicated people, focusing on customers and their needs. Your future colleagues are situated in Copenhagen and Frederikshavn.

This particular position will be based in Copenhagen, where you will join our team of sales managers, project coordinators, product managers and project managers, all dealing with retrofit’s standard product portfolio.
