Senior Project Manager

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with experience in delivering software solutions to join our dynamic team with reference to the Head of PMO in Retail & Wholesale. You will be part of the PMO team with eight colleagues, who deliver complex customer projects across the Nordics. Our mindset is to do it better tomorrow than today. We focus on the right competences, supported by standard models and processes to create the foundation for successful projects. 

Your workday and tasks  

As our Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing entire projects or specific parts of them. You will interact extensively across the organization, collaborating closely with our development, operational, and consulting departments. 

Tasks and responsibilities will include: 

• Project Planning, Coordination, and Management: Drive projects from inception to completion in coordination with the customer. Define project requirements and objectives and develop detailed project plans. 
• Deliver Projects According to Customer Agreements: Ensure projects are delivered as per the agreed terms with the customer, including managing any issue, risks or changes that arise. 
• Communication and Stakeholder Management: Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, providing regular internal and external reports. 
• Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to the team by sharing your expertise and insights in IT project management. 

What we expect from You 

• Proven Experience: You have over 5 years of experience as a project manager, or as a technical lead or team lead for IT development projects. A proven track record of successfully managing complex projects. Experience in the Retail and Wholesale sectors will be an advantage.  
• Educational Background and certifications: You hold an MSc or BSc in Engineering, IT, Administration, or a similar relevant field. You are a certified Project Manager, such as PRINCE2, and have experience with agile development.  
• Language Skills: You are fluent in written and spoken English, and preferably Danish as well. 
• Leadership Skills: You demonstrate strong leadership abilities, including the capacity to inspire and motivate your team, make strategic decisions and manage conflicts effectively. You are positive and proactive in your mindset and the way you work. 
• Stakeholder Management: You excel in stakeholder management, communicating effectively, building new relationships, and showing leadership in a complex stakeholder landscape.  
• Integrity and Data-Driven: You are data-driven and deliver on your promises with a high level of integrity.
