The position
As Senior Project Risk Manager, you will drive insurance activities related to M&A, including due diligence, contract review, integration planning, as well as final integration into NNs insurance setup. Furthermore, you will be in charge of driving insurance strategy and framework related to M&A. You will also be involved in strategic projects both in Insurance Risk Management but also across Treasury. On a daily basis, you will collaborate with Novo Nordisk affiliates, internal and external stakeholders involved in M&A activities and be in close dialogue with international insurance companies and insurance brokers.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Drive Novo Nordisk acquisition activities from an insurance perspective, including due diligence, contract review, integration planning etc
Drive strategic projects within Insurance Risk Management and innovation and optimisation of Insurance processes
Manage strategic projects across Corporate Treasury
Prepare recommendations and general reporting for senior management
Conduct ad hoc analysis and problem solving

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have the following qualifications:
An academic background with a Master of Science in e.g. Economics, Finance or Law with excellent results
5-10 years of relevant experience from an international company or the insurance sector
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate with a wide range of people of different cultures and seniority
Excellent communication skills both in written and spoken English
On a personal level, you are analytical, ambitious, and energetic with a positive attitude towards challenges and eager to learn and develop. Your independence and proactiveness enables you to take ownership of your assignments, drive projects forward and deliver high-quality results, while achieving success through collaboration with others.
About the department
You will join the Insurance Risk Management team in Corporate Treasury, responsible for managing Novo Nordisk’s global portfolio of insurable risks. We are a department of 4 dedicated and highly skilled professionals located in our headquarter in Bagsværd, DK.
The Insurance Risk Management department is part of Corporate Treasury which also consists of the Corporate Financial Risk department responsible for handling financial risks at Group level, and the Global Financial Risk department responsible for managing financial risks in affiliates and maintaining and developing the Group’s global cash management set-up.
