Senior Quality Assurance Manager

The position
As Senior Quality Assurance Manager of Product Supply Aseptic Manufacturing of Finished Product at Hillerød (PS AM QA Hi FP) you will report to the Vice President (VP) of PS AM QA Hi & Ge. You will be heading up a growing business-critical function with currently 45 highly dedicated and engaged employees.

You will carry the overall responsibility of the QA department for Assembly & Packaging and your responsibilities will be to:

• Manage the QA department and lead 3 associated mangers leading competent and experienced QA employees.
• Set direction for quality and compliance based on the demands of the authorities and requirements.
• Ensure that production, facilities as well as products are in compliance with cGMP and are living up to regulations for production of finish product.
• Ensure flow in release of Finish Product to the market.
• Ensure the optimizations integrate quality and compliance to continuously improve in production and quality.
• Maintain close collaboration with the stakeholders and common alignment.

Operating in a highly regulated environment, you will further ensure adherence to cGMP, safety and quality standards while continuously developing an organization that is always ready for an exciting future that calls for implementation of new technologies, a crisp focus on scrap reduction and continuous optimization.
 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should:

• Possess extensive management experience and hold a master’s degree.
• Provide strong role and task clarity and demonstrate ambition, empathy and a strong understanding of business.
• Create strong followship around your visions and ideas, serving as a role model while fostering a data-based culture and guiding behavior to empower your organization.
• Experience with Lean methodologies is beneficial.

On a personal level, you have strong values-based leadership and management skills. You are also an excellent communicator and a team player. It is expected that you are comfortable making decisions at your own level with a very high degree of independence.

About the department 
Product Supply Site Aseptic Manufacturing Hillerød (PS AM Hi) is a large production organization of approx. 1200 employees, who play a key role in delivering products to our patients worldwide. We are a highly modern and automated production facility and is thereby a production lighthouse for Novo Nordisk. The site consists of a new AP (Aseptic Production) Facility and a modern FP (Finished Production) area with several assembly and packaging lines and highly automated Material Handling.

PS AM Hi is an important and strategic site in our global production network and launches all new diabetes products. The factory is in operation 365/24/7 and has a continuous focus on optimizing processes and line performance using LEAN.

The QA department consists of three teams: two teams responsible to ensure GMP in running production and release of Finish Products and one team to ensure that validation of production processes, as well as qualification of facilities, equipment, and automation systems, is documented according to current GMP requirements.
