Is this you?

As a Senior SRE at Monta, you will help build and manage the Infrastructure at Monta, mainly built on Kubernetes on AWS. You will also be helping and assisting people around the organization with Infrastructure and performance related tasks.

We've just closed a massive 80M EUR Series B round, propelling us toward revolutionizing the EV charging experience. Our growth has soared, with nearly a million monthly charging sessions and 1,000 EV drivers joining us daily. We'll use this funding to enhance our software-only strategy, expand into new markets, and improve our product for an electrified future ⚡

Tools and technologies you’ll use

You’ll be working with a fairly modern stack, and while we don't expect you to know everything about it, you should be comfortable learning new tech. Our tools include 

• AWS (EKS, ElastiCache, RDS, OpenSearch)
• Grafana, Loki, Mimir, Tempo
• Service Mesh (Linkerd)
• IaC (Crossplane)
• GitOps (ArgoCD)
• Go/Python/Bash
• Kafka
• Java/PHP

Here are some things you’ll be working on:

• Build and manage Infrastructure using tools like Kubernetes, ArgoCD and Crossplane
• Build and use our observability stack (Grafana, Loki, Mimir and Tempo)
• Assist and support our organization in Performance and Reliability tasks
• Participate in OnCall and Incidents     
• Build tooling and automation (We generally prefer Go)

As a Senior SRE, you will:

Our SRE team is a mix of different people ranging disciplines like Infrastructure, DevOps, DevExp, Security, DBA and developers all working together to make our platform stable and secure, while helping developers keep productivity.
Given our industry, we have some very unique challenges in keeping devices connected to our platform stable, meaning you will always have new and exciting challenges to tacle. 

To do this, we imagine you to have the following experience:

1. We expect you to be a fairly independent developer being able to take an idea and turn that into working code, but of course also being able to work in a team is crucial
2. We appreciate someone who has the ideal solution in mind but also knows when to take the pragmatic approach
3. Comfortable with learning new technologies and topics, we're working on tackling new problems throughout the industry and using scalable solutions to do that!

The salary range for this role is 45,000 - 55,000 DKK per month depending on level of experience.
