The position
We are seeking a Senior Software Architect for our Software department responsible for developing measurement systems with inputs from a broad range of sensor and signal types within sound & vibration, mechanical & structural.
‘The architect should help the department develop applications that belong to a bigger measurement system which also includes specialized hardware (Sensors, DAQs), network components, cloud solutions etc. Most of our current applications are Windows applications but, we also work with Apps, cloud, etc. The Architect will together with other SW architects be responsible for the overall architecture of the applications and the interfaces between applications. Another important part of the job is to be a champion of quality and good software development practices within the department.
In HBK we are continuously working to improve our existing products, creating new solutions to empower innovators across Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, Renewable Energies, Civil Engineering, Industrial applications.
Primary responsibilities
Executes a range of tasks across the full life cycle in line with agreed software development methodology, including and not limited to the following; and any other duties reasonably required from time to time:
Architecture
Software design
Software development
Quality, Testing and Nonfunctional Requirements (NFRs)
Professional qualifications
You have experience with SW architecture, preferably within Windows application development. You have experience from projects within new development, continuous improvement of existing products and support of legacy products.
