Senior Software Engineer - Monetization

The Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our Monetization team focused on providing our users with self-serve purchasing and subscription management. Whether it's designing seamless user experiences, leveraging edge AI to craft the optimal solution or building scalable systems, your work will touch the sports community worldwide.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver products that empower our users to utilize the full potential of Veo, and meet business goals.

• Contribute to the full product lifecycle—ideation, development, deployment, and monitoring—while leveraging customer feedback loops to iteratively refine and improve products.

• Collaborate on integrating our platform with key third-party services, including Zuora, Salesforce, and Adyen.

• Ensure high performance, security, and scalability across all aspects of the software.

• Leverage and enhance Veo’s design system to create intuitive user experiences.

• Participate in technical discussions, reviews, and decisions to shape Veo’s technology landscape.

What You Could Bring

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, ideally in a SaaS company or a high growth environment.

• Previous experience working with e-commerce or payment solutions.

• Proficiency with typescript in both backend (e.g. Node.js, NestJS) and reactive frontend (e.g. React, styled components) technologies.

• Experience with testing practices, including unit and integration testing with Jest or Playwright, and implementing CI/CD pipelines.

• An eye for architecture: you can discuss the tradeoff between architectural choices, both on a theoretical level and on an applied level.

• A collaborative spirit, working well with others to reach shared goals.

• A drive for building products that solve real problems and bring value to users.

• A growth mindset, focused on continuous improvement and learning.

• A problem-solving mindset and clear understanding of what good looks like when it comes to building and operating large-scale systems. 

• An appreciation for clean, maintainable code and best practices.

• Comprehensive verbal and written English communication skills.
