The Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and systems of our customers in the Feed & Biofuel Industry. This includes performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and ensuring that all machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely. Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety are essential for this role.
The role requires extensive travelling to our customers mainly located in northern Europe (other locations in Europe are possible upon agreement). Engagement in Site Installations projects globally are possible.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems, including inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and repairs. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues in machinery, using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools. Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems, such as bearings, seals, gaskets, gears, and belts. Installation & Assembly: Assist in the installation, assembly, and commissioning of new mechanical equipment and machinery. Ensure proper alignment, calibration, and testing of mechanical systems. Safety & Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards related to mechanical systems. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures when necessary. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Prepare reports on maintenance issues, and recommendations for improvements. Update equipment logs and maintenance databases. Customer Service: Interact with customers or end-users to understand mechanical issues and provide technical support. Provide training to customers or operators on proper use and maintenance of equipment. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve the reliability and safety of mechanical systems. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with new technologies and industry best practices. YOUR PROFILE:
Black smith education, Mechanical educated or good mechanical skills Technical skills (computer knowledge) Good black smith skills Good technical experience about machinery gearboxes, transport systems etc. and knowledge in handling bearings, sealings and lubricants Driver’s license Able to travel weekly, flexible is a key word Fluent in Danish and good English language level Familiar with Microsoft Office tool´s (Word, Excel & Outlook) etc. Min. 5 years experience as travel fitter Dansk:

Fejlfinding og diagnosticering af mekaniske problemer i maskiner ved hjælp af tekniske manualer, skemaer og diagnostiske værktøjer. Reparation eller udskiftning af defekte dele, komponenter eller systemer, såsom lejer, pakninger, tætninger, tandhjul og remme. Installation & Samling: Assistere ved installation, samling og idriftsættelse af nyt udstyr og maskineri. Sikre korrekt justering, kalibrering og testning af kombinerede systemer. Sikkerhed & Overholdelse: Overholde sikkerhedsprotokoller og retningslinjer for at opretholde et sikkert arbejdsmiljø. Sikre overholdelse af alle relevante regler, koder og standarder relateret til systemerne. Bruge personlige værnemidler (PPE) og følge lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedurer, når det er nødvendigt Dokumentation & Rapportering: Vedligeholde nøjagtige optegnelser over vedligeholdelsesaktiviteter, reparationer og inspektioner. Udarbejde rapporter om vedligeholdelsesproblemer og anbefalinger til forbedringer. Opdatere udstyrslogbøger og vedligeholdelsesdatabaser. Kundeservice Interagere med kunder eller slutbrugere for at forstå mekaniske problemer og yde teknisk support. Give træning til kunder eller operatører om korrekt brug og vedligeholdelse af udstyr. Kontinuerlig forbedring: Identificere muligheder for at forbedre pålideligheden og sikkerheden af de samlede systemer. Deltage i løbende træning og udvikling for at holde sig ajour med nye teknologier og branchens bedste praksis. DIN PROFIL:
Uddannet smed eller mekaniker eller gode mekaniske færdigheder Tekniske færdigheder (computerkendskab) Gode smedefærdigheder God teknisk erfaring med maskineri, gearkasser, transportsystemer osv., og kendskab til håndtering af lejer, tætninger og smøremidler Kørekort I stand til at rejse ugentligt, fleksibilitet er nøgleordet Flydende i dansk og gode engelske kundskaber Fortrolig med Microsoft Office-værktøjer (Word, Excel & Outlook) osv.
