Position: Short-term Consultant for Market Analysis
Location: Remote (with potential travel around LATAM)
Duration: Commencing in September 2024, with a duration of 3 to 6 months

Project Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified consultant to conduct a comprehensive market analysis for the potential entry of a contraceptive product into the Latin American market, with an initial focus on Brazil.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a focused investigation of specific market elements, including online research, telephonic or Microsoft Teams interviews, and potential market visits.
• Deliver detailed reports on market potential, including:
  • Identification of potential importers, distributors, and partners.
  • Documentation of supply chains in the private and public sectors.
  • Data collection on current sales prices and registration requirements.
  • Analysis of potential pricing models.
  • Identification of potential barriers to market entry.
  • Regulatory knowledge of Latin American markets

Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree in business marketing, Health Sciences (Pharmacy), or related field. An advanced degree (MBA or Master's) is preferred.
• Experience: 5-10 years in market research or business development, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in the Latin American regulatory market is highly advantageous.
• Skills: Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in English and Portuguese or Spanish is required.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, particularly the generic drug market. Familiarity with the contraceptive market.
• Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, independent and with strong problem-solving skills. Experience living or travelling extensively in Latin America is preferred.
