Software Designer

We are looking for a Software Designer to research, design, evaluate, integrate and maintain software applications, technical environments, operating systems, and embedded software.

Responsibilities:
Develop embedded software for Linux operating systems.
Develop embedded software running on microcontrollers.
Develop desktop software.
Write technical documents including specifications, architecture documents, design documents and test documents.
Collaborate with system specialists, electronic designers, electronic technicians, test specialists and project managers.
Collaborate in the definition and improvement of the group's tools.
Collaborate in the preparation of effort estimates and risk analysis for software development projects.
Participate in the installation, modification and testing of distributed systems.
Use debugging, static and dynamic code analysis and network analysis tools.
Actively participate in continuous improvement and process improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Software engineering or equivalent experience.
Good knowledge of some program language, such as C, C++, Python.
Knowledge of Linux environment (asset).
Proficiency in English language.
Ability to work with tight deadlines.
Successfully work with a team.
