We’re looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Developer with a strong sense of professional integrity and team spirit to join our PerfusionWorks team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the full stack development (frontend and backend) of our medical device application. As part of an autonomous team, you’ll be involved in all aspects of the software lifecycle, from initial analysis and architecture to programming, verification, documentation, release, and support. Because our product is used by surgeons in the operating room, we prioritize safety, quality, simplicity, and performance.
Develop and maintain the standalone PerfusionWorks application, including backend (Python) and frontend (React and related technologies).
Participate in the full lifecycle of product development, from design to release and ongoing support – "you build it, you run it."
Continuously contribute to developing a maintainable, scalable and efficient codebase and good and performing coding practices
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to deliver premium value to our users.
Ensure that our medical device documentation remains up-to-date and aligned with product development.
Contribute to continuous learning and improvement in technology and team practices.
The position is full-time and onsite in our cozy office in Copenhagen Ø (with occasional work-from-home flexibility). We’re eager to onboard the right candidate as soon as possible; therefore, only applicants currently residing within commuting distance of Copenhagen will be considered.
What We’re Looking For:
Proficient Programmer – skilled in Python, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Relevant Education – B.Sc. in Computer Science or similar.
Experience – minimum of 2 years in professional software development.
Technically Versatile – comfortable navigating new frameworks, tools, and technologies.
Team-Oriented – thrives in an agile, autonomous environment and values a positive team culture.
Self-Driven – takes initiative and gets things done.
English Proficiency – fluent in written and spoken English.
Copenhagen-Based – residing within commuting distance of our office.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices.
Background in developing medical device software.
