Your mission

As a Software Developer on the team, you will help develop products that are customised and implemented by many customers and across many industries. Together with another backend developer and a frontend developer, and in close collaboration with Builder.io, you will primarily be responsible for the further development and maintenance of our new, revolutionary CMS product. While your main focus will be on backend development, the CMS is frontend-heavy, giving you the opportunity to also engage in frontend development. Additionally, you will work on backend development for other products, such as PIM, where you will create new features and optimize existing solutions - always with an eye for creating the best features that boost the customer's business.

You will participate in agile processes and have an active role in the team, where you have influence and responsibility for defining the design of the technical solution and aim to deliver what has been agreed in the sprint goal.

You will work according to the "You build it, you run it" devops principle, which means involvement in both development of the software products as well as their operation and maintenance in the production environment. You and your team will be part of the entire process, from refinement, coding, integration, deployment, release to monitoring.
Since we have a lot of focus on delivering high-quality products, you will also follow the good processes we have, where we both test and do code reviews.

Who are you?

We are seeking a pragmatic problem solver, a colleague with a “can-do attitude” and a positive approach to challenges. We're looking for someone skilled at analyzing issues, identifying multiple solutions, and understanding the trade-offs between quality, customer value, and development effort.

You have a higher education within software development, e.g. software engineering. Your level of experience is not the most important thing - however, you have a good toolbox and are good at reaching out to others for input and sparring. Even more important is your professionalism and your endless curiosity about object-oriented programming, where you keep up with the latest tech trends and engage in professional discussions with colleagues. Structured development processes appeal to you, as well as high code quality. If you have an interest in or knowledge in frontend development, you're already one step ahead.

We mentioned earlier that you will be part of a professional community, which we hope you will also contribute to. For example, concepts like Big O notation and time/space complexity are familiar to you when working with algorithms. You can spot the difference between good and not-so-good code in code reviews, and you have (or are ready to get) as much of a love for the Clean Code principles as we do.
And most importantly, you can see yourself working with the following technologies:
