We’re looking for our next Software Engineer to join the team at Bottle Hero. If we may say so ourselves (and we totally can, this is our job post), you’ll be stepping into a pretty awesome work environment.

Don’t expect a long list of tasks handed down by “the boss.” Instead, you’ll be tackling a variety of exciting challenges, helping us decide the best way to innovate and improve our platforms.

And here’s the kicker: ideas here don’t gather dust - they turn into reality faster than you can say “cheers.”

Enough about us, let’s talk about you: We’re imagining you’re someone who’s comfortable building and maintaining platforms while collaborating with a team. It’s a huge bonus if you’re familiar with AWS services, dabble in AI, or have experience working with the latest tech.

Tasks

What you’ll be doing

• Maintaining and developing our existing platforms
• Contributing to existing and new projects using the latest technology and AI
• Monitoring and operating AWS services to ensure reliant performance
• Collaborating closely with the leadership team and relevant stakeholders to deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions
• Participating in technical discussions, reviews, and decisions to shape Bottle Hero’s technology landscape

Requirements

We imagine you’re someone who has

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience with full-stack development
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• A solid grasp of software architecture, with the ability to evaluate trade-offs between design choices and their practical applications
• Experience working with databases and building, deploying, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

We’d love it if you have

• Experience with the Laravel (PHP) ecosystem
• Knowledge of AWS services
• Familiarity with MySQL or other relational databases
• Exposure to frontend frameworks like Next.js (React) or Nuxt (Vue)
