We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with strong programming skills specifically in algorithm implementation, a solid foundation in computer science principles, and expertise working with communication protocols. This role is ideal for those who thrive on tackling complex programming challenges, focusing on software design and implementation.

Location: This position is based in Denmark, and we are looking for applicants who are either currently residing in Denmark or are willing to relocate to be part of our vibrant team. Your Key Responsibilities & Projects:

Software Design and Implementation:

• Develop and refine algorithms that drive the performance and efficiency of our load- and energy management systems for EV charging infrastructures, focusing on areas such as load balancing, energy optimization, and real-time data processing as well as protocol handling.

• Design software to handle complex scenarios in load and energy management for EV charging, ensuring scalability and responsiveness under varying conditions and interaction with other software components via publisher/subscriber communication.

Core System Engineering:

• Apply deep computer science principles to architect and enhance critical components of our systems, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and maintainable.

• Engage in the design and implementation of complex data processing pipelines and distributed systems that support our EV charging infrastructure.

System Integration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our software components integrate smoothly within our broader system architecture.

• Ensure that all components work together cohesively to deliver reliable and efficient solutions.

Innovation:

• Stay ahead of the curve in communication protocols, algorithms, and system design, bringing innovative ideas to improve system performance and reliability.

• Explore and experiment with new technologies and approaches to solve complex technical challenges.

What We Expect You to Bring to the Table:

Skills & Experience:

• Strong programming skills focused on software development and software system engineering.

• Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.

• Expertise in message-based communication protocols (e.g., MQTT).

• Experience in OCPP knowledge and experience coding charging stations/management software is a benefit but not mandatory.
