You will be reporting to our US JENSEN Headquarter but working locally from Inwatec ApS where the dynamic environment is innovative and high of collaboration and nerdiness. We enjoy collaboration, so if you are into teamwork and sharing knowledge, you will love it here!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handling of service-related support for Rail systems in Europe.
• Design and develop PLC logic for use in an automated industrial laundry system.
• Participate in all aspects of the software development process: from prototyping to development and testing, as well as lifecycle planning.
• Contribute to the conceptual design and definition of new PLC logic/software tools and modules to ensure their standardization, supportability, and reusability.
• Develop control algorithms for sorting, routines, and resource optimization for use in automated laundry systems.
• Hold project/product review sessions with senior management.
• Provide technical support and product training to both internal and external service personnel.
• Interface with vendors and clients to better define the functional requirement for JENSEN’s software products.
• Act as the technical expert on specific software products and their application within the laundry industry.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or higher preferred in either Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• Exposure to machine level software development on either a PLC or embedded controls platform.
• Experience developing PLC logic in either ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagram.
• Experience with Basic MS SQL, Database scripting, and MS Windows.
• Experience with Safe-PLC programming.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, VirtualBox)
• Expected travel approx. 30% of time (Mainly Europe)
• A basic understanding of electrical design and engineering documentation.
• Fluent in English and basic level French and German is preferred.
