Software Engineer for Engine Applications

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineer/Software developer to join our Engine Mechanical Development department. As a key member of our division, you will play a pivotal role in developing software and conducting data analysis to drive advancements in our marine engine systems, contributing directly to our mission of reducing carbon emissions in the maritime industry.

You will play an important role in:

• Designing and implementing innovative software solutions to enhance marine engine efficiency and sustainability.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and achieve shared goals.
• Creating impactful data visualization tools to effectively communicate insights and trends to stakeholders.
• Participating in dynamic design discussions, providing valuable input on integrating data analysis methodologies into engine development processes.
• Documenting code, processes, and analysis methodologies to ensure seamless knowledge sharing and team collaboration.

We imagine that you:

• Are a smart mind with  a background in software development from either engineering, computer science or mathematics
• Are highly proficient in Python, and other languages as well is a plus.

• May have some experience from the marine industry

• Work with git, cloud technologies, databases as well as data visualization and data preparation

• Lastly, you are a pragmatic team player who loves to learn and likes to get your hands dirty!
