As an intern, you will be an important member of our dynamic product team, collaborating with fellow engineers, product managers, UX designers, and other functions to support key business initiatives.

As a Software Engineering intern at Lenus, you will have the opportunity to participate in various stages of feature development for our mobile or web applications, from early research and team discussions through to the final release.
Your day-to-day tasks will vary and may include contributing to solutions for a range of technical challenges, providing feedback and insights on designs, collaborating on technical approaches, and supporting the development, testing, and deployment of features with the team.
You will receive guidance and mentorship from one of our experienced software engineers, who will support you in learning everything you need to know, from our shared values at Lenus to the best practices surrounding software engineering. This internship is designed to provide you with hands-on experience and foundational skills that will support your growth in software engineering.

Basic requirements
Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or having equivalent knowledge or experience in a related field
Creative problem-solving skills and a desire to build something meaningful, with a collaborative and open mindset
Ability to clearly communicate technical problems and solutions in English
Curiosity and eagerness to learn, with enthusiasm for both personal and professional growth within a supportive environment
Experience with or familiarity in TypeScript or JavaScript
Bonus Skills & Traits
Familiarity with development frameworks such as React, React Native or Node.js
Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) is beneficial
Interest in or familiarity with software testing practices and common design patterns
Personal projects or examples of work to showcase are welcome but not required
Interest in joining a range of team events and social gatherings to connect with colleagues.
