Solution Architect - Order to Cash

The Position 
Novo Nordisk is embarking on a digitalization journey, leveraging our current SAP solution and preparing for the future SAP S/4 HANA, while enabling scalable expansion to new solutions. Our aim is to simplify processes, create better data transparency, and elevate the entire Order to Cash process to new levels of efficiency and standardization. Order to Cash in Novo Nordisk is defined as all commercial processes from Customer Creation to Cash Collection. We operate across several functional areas to improve value creation of the entire Order to Cash process to a new level by improving standardization, improve system utilization while allowing full integration of local processes into the core SAP environment. Key areas across operations: pricing, market access, supply chain, product supply, accounting, finance, and IT. As part of this transformation, we are seeking a Solution Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Order to Cash solutions at Novo Nordisk
 

Your main responsibilities include:

• Help set the strategic direction for Novo Nordisk’s Order to Cash process with your understanding of the possibilities within the technologies in use in Order to Cash, ensuring alignment with the company's digitalization goals and ongoing SAP S/4 HANA implementation.
• Lead the design and development of new solutions within the Order to Cash system landscape as part of the O2C architecture team.
• Act as a key partner between IT and the business, accelerating the value capture into Order to Cash systems.
• Define solution design guidelines and principles for our functional team.
• Own the solution design and quality of Order to Cash Business solutions together with O2C process architect, ensuring efficient day-to-day business processes and supporting the development of new capabilities and insights for the organization.
• Collaborate with the Global Order to Cash architecture team to lead the maturity journey of Novo Nordisk Order to Cash processes, enabling a standard process landscape with affiliates supported by core system functionality

Qualifications:
Novo Nordisk is embarking on a digitalization journey, leveraging our current SAP solution and preparing for the future SAP S/4 HANA, while enabling scalable expansion to new solutions. Our aim is to simplify processes, create better data transparency, and elevate the entire Order to Cash process to new levels of efficiency and standardization.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• 10+ years of experience in a similar role working with solution and process design.
• Deep understanding of S/4 HANA, SAP FI, SAP Logistics, and Order to Cash, with a strong understanding of end-to-end business process flows.
• Strong analytical skills, personal drive, and ability to deliver quality work on parallel activities and still reach deadlines.
• Experience in navigating and leading collaboration for impact in a global, complex, and matrix environment.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and IT project experience.
• Excellent communication skills and a high command of written and spoken English.

About the department 
This position is anchored in SAP Finance Solutions, where we focus on optimizing our Finance IT and integrating our new acquisitions into our current financial structure, with SAP as our ERP backbone. The department consist of 21 people, who all placed in different delivery teams and projects, but still have focus on being social and supporting each other.  In our department we are committed to fulfilling our aspirations of optimizing our digital processes, delivering more insights through data, maximizing our digital capabilities, and creating the best digital infrastructure and data foundation.
