About the LEO Foundation Skin Immunology Research Center (SIC)
The LEO Foundation Skin Immunology Research Center is located on the 12th floor in the award-winning Maersk Tower at the Department of Immunology and Microbiology. We offer ultra-modern facilities and a vibrant international research environment with a focus on the development of early-career scientists. Based on a grant from the LEO Foundation of more than 50 million EUR, the center aims to unite leading Danish and international researchers in immunology and skin disease to provide new knowledge to enable better diagnostics and more effective treatments for a wide range of inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis and eczema. Your job
We are offering a lab manager position in the newly started group led by Assistant Professor Wenning Zheng. The group focus on understanding T cell clones and their antigen specificity in health and skin diseases such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. We are looking for a candidate with a record as a sound and reliable scientist with clear organizational skills. The successful candidate should also possess good collaboration skills, both within the group and external, international collaborators in academia and industry.
Your main task will be to support the group leader in the organization of the group and experiments in the laboratory. As a lab manager, you will have both independent projects and contribute to and support the ongoing research projects in the group when needed, disseminate your expertise to new lab members and lead the management of the lab. You will be responsible for legislative aspects of laboratories and research projects, including writing the necessary ethical applications, supervising laboratory design and activities, and handling of hazardous chemicals and biological agents.

Terms of salary and employment
The employment as ‘staff scientist’ (AC-TAP) is a full time and fixed-term position for just over 4 years. The position will start the 1st of August 2025 and terminated the 31st of December 2029. Employment will be in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and AC (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations). The monthly salary will be based on the number of years of work experience (seniority) with the possibility to negotiate a salary supplement based on prior experiences and qualifications. The employer will pay an additional 17.1 % to your pension fund.
