Our Stock Controller manages hardware stock levels in conjunction with local and remote management to ensure supply and orders are commercially beneficial and delivered on time. This involves liaising internally, with customers and suppliers, receiving goods, processing and shipping customer orders for hardware, consumables, and rentals. Accurate record keeping is essential to ensure that stock levels are correctly accounted for at all times. 

The role requires that the stock control processes are followed, and that every effort is made to ensure that customer Service Level Agreements are met. There may also be opportunities help the support team if they temporarily need more capacity or assistance with resolving hardware issues by identifying what replacements are required.

The Stock Controller should ensure that the reputation of our software and services is upheld and customer satisfaction is maintained or increased. You should be aligned to the evolving company culture, use and contribute to the team’s knowledge base.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain required hardware stock levels, and where applicable, consumable stock levels.
  • Process and ship customer orders, maintaining records in the stock management system.
  • Liaise with 3rd Party suppliers and manufacturers for Return Merchandise Authorisations (RMAs).
  • Deliver concise and accurate updates to internal teams and customers using clear and precise language.
  • Prioritise work based on agreements.
  • Liaise with Support and Delivery colleagues who may be located elsewhere.
  • Adhere to established processes to ensure consistent results.
  • Identify known issues or FAQs and document for the whole team as well as add other information to the knowledge base which will benefit the team.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, conscientious and outcome-focused.

Skills & Experience

  • Controlling stock levels and processing customer orders.
  • Working with hardware stock/orders, with knowledge of PC components an advantage.
  • Record keeping for stock and accounting purposes.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure, and to manage internal and external expectations around resolution timeframes.
  • Self-motivation and ability to take responsibility, but knows when to escalate if necessary.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Can demonstrate examples of contributing to team spirit and trust through multiple methods including sharing knowledge in a structured format.
  • Customer-orientated with experience working in Retail or with Retail businesses an advantage.

Reporting Line & Location

The role will be located in the Brøndby office in Denmark and will report to the European Operations Manager. Assignments may also be set directly by the Head of Hardware Delivery.

The role is office-based due to the nature of handling hardware, although occasional working from home may be possible.

 

Hours

The requirement is to work part time, totalling the equivalent of three days per week (22.5 hours). The actual days and hours work can be flexible i.e. the hours can be worked over 3, 4, or 5 weekdays.
