Our flagship store is the heart of this movement, and we are looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and highly skilled leader to take it to the next level. As our Store Director, you will embody the GANNI spirit—driven, passionate, hands-on, and always one step ahead. You will own your business, actively driving client engagement, sales, and team development while ensuring an unparalleled customer experience. You will run a business based on an omnichannel/omnicommerce mentality, where missing a sale is not an option. With a result-oriented mindset, you will drive footfall through a digital client outreach program as an integral part of daily operations.
With a strong client book, a strategic mindset, and a passion for building relationships, you will leverage online booking services and in-store events to grow and nurture the GANNI community.
You will lead and support your team to consistently deliver seamless, efficient, and client-focused service. You will manage, motivate, and inspire your store team to achieve KPI targets while fostering a culture that is authentic, optimistic, and driven by results and continuous learning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
STORE MANAGEMENT & BUSINESS PERFORMANCE
- Own and drive the store’s commercial success, achieving sales budgets and KPI targets set by the Retail Area Manager.
- Analyze performance metrics, identify opportunities for growth, and take proactive actions to optimize business performance.
- Implement and diligently follow up on action plans, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with company goals.
- Collaborate closely with the Retail Area Manager to set priorities, align business strategies, and execute effectively.
- Set and communicate clear expectations for daily, weekly, and monthly store results, ensuring consistent performance tracking.
- Deliver structured training and workshops using tools and resources provided by the Retail Area Manager and Training Team.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting, meeting all weekly and monthly deadlines.
- Plan and manage store schedules strategically, ensuring productivity while optimizing salary spending.
TEAM LEADERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT
- Lead by example, setting the standard for GANNI’s service excellence, selling procedures, and brand values.
- Coach, motivate, and challenge the team to reach their full potential, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ensure all team members are fully trained on collections, following HUB Academy guidelines and embodying GANNI’s brand ethos.
- Organize and lead monthly staff meetings, ensuring transparency, alignment, and engagement.
- Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and continuous development of Client Advisors, building a team of top talent.
- Apply disciplinary procedures professionally and timely when necessary, ensuring fairness and consistency.
- Ensure all GANNI HR policies and procedures are upheld at all times.
- Maintain a high standard of grooming and professional behaviour, ensuring the team represents the brand in an inspiring way.
- Conduct yearly Performance Development Plans (PDPs) and appraisals, fostering continuous growth and accountability.
OPERATIONS & STORE EXCELLENCE
- Ensure the storefront and back-of-house (BOH) areas are always presentable, organized, and operationally efficient.
- Take full ownership of weekly stocktakes and shrinkage results, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
- Oversee all operational and commercial processes, including deliveries, RTW, sales implementation, till procedures, returns, claims processing, and omnichannel operations (BOPIS, EA, BOSFS).
- Plan and execute in-store events in collaboration with the Marketing Team and Retail Area Manager, enhancing customer engagement.
- Ensure visual merchandising (VM) standards are executed flawlessly, working closely with the VM team to maintain an inspiring retail environment.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven leadership experience—minimum 5 years in store management within fashion retail (luxury experience is a plus).
- Strong clienteling expertise with a well-developed client book and a deep understanding of personalized service.
- Experience in CRM management and digital clienteling strategies to drive footfall, engagement, and retention.
- Hands-on, entrepreneurial approach—this is not a corporate desk job; you lead from the floor, setting the standard for your team.
- Exceptional communication and team leadership skills—you know how to inspire, coach, and drive high performance.
- Proven ability to train, develop, and empower sales teams to achieve commercial success and deliver best-in-class service.
- Strong commercial acumen—P&L ownership, KPI analysis, and strategic decision-making to drive business performance.
- Experience in visual merchandising and in-store activations to elevate the customer experience and storytelling.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining attention to detail and operational excellence.
- Fluent in English (Danish is a strong advantage).
