We are looking for a passionate and experienced Store Manager & New Product Developer who will take on a dual role—overseeing store operations while driving innovation in our new product development. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on manufacturing expertise, and a deep understanding of ESG principles and social impact reporting.
Key Responsibilities Store ManagementLead daily operations of our Vedbæk store, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Manage, train, and motivate store staff to maintain high-performance standards.
Oversee inventory, sales performance, and customer engagement strategies.
Work certain weekends to support store activities and promotions.
Drive the development of new high-quality, deluxe chocolate products and other delicacies within different categories.
Manage chocolate production processes, ensuring consistency and excellence.
Oversee sourcing of premium raw materials and maintain quality control.
Implement innovative production techniques while adhering to sustainability standards.
Develop and maintain partnerships with suppliers and social enterprises in developing countries, with a strong focus on Africa.
Negotiate and secure deals with new vendors, ensuring ethical sourcing practices.
Report on social impact metrics, demonstrating our commitment to responsible business practices.
Ensure that ESG principles are integrated into all aspects of product development and store operations.
Background in Business & Management: Proven experience in leadership roles with a strong ability to manage people and operations.
Chocolate Manufacturing Expertise: Hands-on experience in producing high-quality, deluxe chocolate.
ESG & Social Enterprise Experience: Prior involvement in sustainable business practices, preferably in Africa or other developing regions.
Vendor Negotiation Skills: Strong track record in building and negotiating deals with suppliers.
Social Impact Reporting: Experience in tracking and reporting on social and environmental impact metrics.
Entrepreneurial & Hands-On Attitude: A self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about making a difference.
