Strategic Partnership and Alliance Manager to Novo Nordisk Foundation Cellerator

NNF Cellerator will operate in a novel facility which is part of the Novo Nordisk Foundation’s strategic focus areas in the regenerative medicine ecosystem. Cellerator aims to be at the forefront of cell therapy technology and engineering. The project mission is to accelerate the development of cell-based therapy into clinical trials and to establish a new key unit in the cell therapy ecosystem of Denmark and beyond, further supporting the strong growth of this field. Cellerator will operate as a development and manufacturing organization for cell-based therapies and will be open to academia as well as industry. Cellerator currently consists of 14 colleagues with diverse backgrounds and the team will increase during the coming years as part of the implementation strategy before going into operations.

The Job

You will be entrusted with significant responsibilities from day one. In addition to being a proficient partnership manager, your exceptional interpersonal skills will make you an integral part in the further development and successful establishment of a well-functioning organization. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Identifying, establishing, and managing strategic partnerships, networks, and alliances within the organization, ensuring alignment with its mission and goals.
• Developing and executing comprehensive partnership plans, including objectives, deliverables, resources, budget, and timeline, ensuring cross-functional alignment.
• Monitor industry trends and landscape to identify new opportunities
• Utilizing problem-solving skills and frameworks to ensure the success of partnerships.
• Monitoring partnership progress, identifying risks and issues, and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Preparing and presenting partnership updates to executives and stakeholders.
• Organizing partnership meetings: scheduling, drafting agendas, overseeing agenda items, managing the annual cycle, preparing materials, facilitating discussions, taking minutes, and following up on actions.
• Providing a high-level overview of the NNF Cellerator project budget related to partnerships.

About you

Due to the novel nature of the Cellerator, curiosity outside of one’s own area is highly valued, and you should be well-known for initiating collaboration between different business areas and across professional domains. Your former colleagues still talk about your excellent stakeholder management skills, and they miss working with you due to your ability to create both results and good relationships with the people around you.

You have:

• 5+ years of experience from a similar role in a non-profit, pharma, or biotech organization.
• Extensive experience in managing strategic partnerships and alliances.
• Outstanding skills in problem-solving and applying consulting frameworks.
• Excellent skills in verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Experience with handling budgets.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge of the nature and culture of science is an advantage.
