Student Ambassadors for TEK SDU Sønderborg

We need ambassadors from the following programmes:

• Electronics
• Engineering, Innovation and Business
• Mechanical Engineering
• Mechatronics
• Software Engineering

As an ambassador, you will be part of a team of students, which represent the Faculty of Engineering at school outreach with high schools and other recruitment activities. It is important that you like to communicate and talk about your study programme, why you chose engineering and your specific study programme, and how it is to study at the university in Sønderborg/Denmark. Through workshops and lectures, you will also communicate and teach contents from your study programme. Your motivation is more important than your experience.

We expect that you:
 

• Are enrolled as an engineering student at SDU Sønderborg
• Know your study programme as well as the other study programmes offered by the Faculty of Engineering.
• Are academically strong in your field of study
• Are outgoing and engaged in your work
• Have a positive approach to life and communicate well, both verbally and in writing
• Can work individually and in groups
• Are flexible and responsible
• Have a driver’s license (not a requirement, but a clear advantage)
   

You are formally hired for 1 hour per week in general. The actual number of working hours per week is not fixed but depends on requests and activities. The job is hourly paid. 

Employment is in accordance with the framework agreement between the Ministry of Finance and HK.
