Student assistant - Business and commercial development

We are looking for the brightest students to join our team, working in an informal environment fueled by the desire to increase the competitiveness of Danish companies through better project execution. We are supported by the Danish Industry Foundation and are housed by the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI) in the centre of Copenhagen.

What you will be working with

Your job will be to assist the Executive Director in developing and expanding the Institute through business development and partnerships.

Your tasks will therefore include:

• Market research, analysis, and reporting for use in decision making.

• Supporting the creation of commercial development strategies and assisting in the execution hereof.

• Maintaining, improving, and expanding our network of training organizations and partners.

• Assist in the launch of Half Double Institute in other countries.

  
  

Your tasks and areas of responsibility will vary between internal assignments and external engagements and outreach. Though business development will be your main focus, please keep in mind that we are a small company with a wide range of tasks to solve. An open mind and motivation to learn and reach out of your comfort zone is therefore required if you want to thrive in this position. You will be working approximately 15 hours per week. However, we also understand that you must attend to and prioritize your studies, and we are aware that there will be times when you are occupied with exams.

You might be the one we are looking for if you:

• Are studying a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in strategy, business development, innovation or similar business subjects.

• Have a strong academic or employment track record.

• Are in the final year of your bachelor’s degree or first year of your master’s degree.

• Have strong analytical skills combined with an empathetic, entrepreneurial, and curious mind.

• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of your tasks.

• A natural communicator with good English communication skills and comfortable contacting people.

Furthermore, proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and other tools combined with a good attention to detail will be much appreciated.
