The job:

Flying Tiger Copenhagen is looking for a Student Assistant with a background in IT, Project Management and Economics , who is eager to learn to work with IT budgets and the team with project related tasks within the IT Projects that is being initiated.

You will be part of an international and highly competent department, responsible for supporting the business with IT. Your work will revolve around Invoice management, controlling IT projects and assisting the project managers in the team. You will continuously help support the invoice handling for the IT department and making sure that projects are in line with the costs that follows as well as documenting new processes that may occur.

To be successful in this role you need to be structured, have sense for details and be able to work independently. Furthermore, you are able to follow up on your tasks and reach out to relevant vendors or stakeholders if needed.

Your tasks will primarily be:

• To manage invoices in AX Invoice Workflow
• To create new IT projects and set up users for time registration
• To support the CIO in controlling the IT budget
• To cooperate with finance each month in relation to month end
• To support the intranet
• To document and maintain new concepts
• To support various ad-hoc tasks
• To control relevant contracts from the respective vendors

Your profile:

You are a Master’s student in the domain of IT and Economics and would like to gain experience in the field of bridging IT and business.

Personal qualifications:

• You are result-oriented, proactive, ambitious and take responsibility for own tasks
• You are structured and can organize your work to comply with best practices and deadlines
• You are curious and eager to explore opportunities for optimizing
• You have excellent communication skills

It is important that you have an eye for the details as well as the ability to meet deadlines. As a person you are open and curious about all kinds of tasks and you want to contribute to a good working climate within the department. It is important that you thrive in an environment, in which collaboration within the department is crucial. You must be professional, analytically strong, and able to stay focused in a very hectic environment with several ongoing projects without losing sight of a busy day with many changes and directions.
