Student Assistant (Compliance) for our KPMG Corporate Finance team

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented student assistant to join our Corporate Finance team in Copenhagen. The position is an opportunity to gain insights and perspectives in the life of Corporate Finance and the great culture at KPMG.

We can offer you ongoing development opportunities and high-profile engagements with significant responsibility from day one and a steep learning curve. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with compliance, specifically in areas such as Anti-Money-Laundering (AML) and Client Engagement Acceptance- and Continuance (CEAC) for new projects. You will play a key role in ensuring that our firm maintains the highest standards of regulatory compliance while being a part of a dynamic and professional environment.

The position

As a Compliance Student Assistant in our team, your primary tasks will be:

• Assist with Sentinel, AML, and CEAC Processes: manage and process compliance requirements for new projects
• Conduct analysis related to client and engagement onboarding processes
• Assist in preparing and maintaining compliance documentation and records
• Work closely with the Corporate Finance and AML team to ensure adherence to regulatory standards
• Other ad hoc tasks
• Weekly workload will be about 10-15 hours with flexibility during exam periods

About you, our newest team member 

We seek qualified and skilled people with the following qualifications:

• You are currently studying your bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, law, or a related field
• Open-minded with a positive and 'can-do' mind-set
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for detail and a thorough approach to tasks
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in English and Danish is a prerequisite
