Student Software Engineer

As our new Student Software Engineer, you will 
Integrate, Build, and Support Data Solutions

• Set up custodian integrations: Develop and manage the ingestion of trading, custodian, and brokerage data into our systems, working with APIs and external data sources to deliver secure and reliable connections.

• Develop data pipelines & ingestion tools: Collaborate on projects to automate data quality checks, ensuring our partners’ data remains accurate and up to date. You'll work directly with banks and custodians worldwide, from major players like Goldman Sachs to niche providers.

• Create and maintain reporting tools: Assist in designing reporting workflows and data visualization tools, empowering our clients with actionable insights and supporting decision-making for asset and wealth managers.

• Troubleshoot and maintain: Fix bugs and optimize performance as needed to support our clients, ensuring that their experience with our software is smooth and efficient.

• Deliver new features & functionality: Partner with our engineering team to rapidly develop and ship new features, from trading analytics to portfolio insights, iterating constantly to improve our product and client value.

About our Tech Stack

• Languages: TypeScript, Golang, Rust, PHP, Python, AWS CDK - whatever fit for the problem at hand.

• Infrastructure: AWS-based cloud environment with Docker for containerization.

• Workstyle: We follow a Kanban structure and embrace a culture of shipping fast and iterating constantly, keeping our workflow adaptable and responsive to evolving priorities.

What we’re looking for 

Professional Experience & Skills

• You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, with at least one year remaining in your studies. Strong academic performance is a plus.

• We welcome applicants from STEM backgrounds and/or Finance with a solid tech foundation who are eager to learn and ready to take ownership.

• Academic foundation in finance and/or software engineering is a big plus; familiarity with investment or wealth management is even better.

• Eager to learn and comfortable taking ownership of projects, big or small.

• Hands-on experience building something cool (be it a personal project or coursework). We value creativity, initiative, and the drive to leave a lasting mark on our product and team.
