Student Worker at SDU Center for Energy Informatics
SDU Center for Energy Informatics is seeking a motivated student worker with a background or strong interest in the energy domain.
You will play a key role in designing and developing simulations and digital twins built upon our existing platform to address real-world energy challenges.
Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Create simulations and digital twins on top of an existing platform, aiming to model and optimize energy systems
- Integration: Integrate new features and functionalities in collaboration with the research team
- Testing and Refinement: Conduct thorough testing to ensure robust performance and reliability
- Tool Maintenance: Support deployment, updates, and ongoing maintenance
- Collaboration: Communicate regularly with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements and improve solutions
Competences
- You are pursuing a relevant BSc or MSc (e.g., Energy Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, or similar)
- Strong understanding in the energy domain (e.g., renewable energy, smart grids, energy analytics)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Systematic problem-solving approach

Please note, the selected candidate as Student Assistant or Academic Supervisor must be enrolled as student at SDU.
Employment shall take place in accordance with the framework agreement between the Ministry of Finance and SUL (National Union for Student Teachers in Government Service).
In case you have not yet had an examination at SDU, the enrollment confirmation instead of the exam transcript must be annexed your application.
Application must include cover letter, CV and transcript of grades. All documents in connection with the application should not contain CPR number (civil registration number) – in that case, the CPR number must be crossed out.
