You will join a close-knit and ambitious team of 8 colleagues consisting of developers and analysts. We have implemented the new wholesale BI solution for the business to use, and our focus is now continuously improving the solution with the purpose of creating business value. Wholesale Analytics is a part of the department Data & Analytics, which is a department in growth, both professional and in size. A department driven by a vision of making the Data & Analytics landscape in BESTSELLER value driven and data democratic, and to create tools that automate and augment decisions with data and insights.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibilities as a student worker in the Wholesale Analytics team will include creating and maintaining our Power BI reports, supporting users' needs and requirements. Our team lives by the motto "the data has no value if we don't have any users," which underscores our focus on being both data-centric and user-centric. Therefore, we want you to focus on enhancing the existing learning platform and communicating with the users. You will communicate complex subjects in a simple manner to a wide audience. Collaboration with colleagues both within and outside the Data & Analytics team is essential. Therefore, it's important that you thrive in an outgoing role that requires you to meet users at eye level and understand their perspective and challenges. Furthermore, it's key that you have strong communication skills and know how to bridge the gap between data and end-users. Finally, you are structured and can manage your own time.
THE PRACTICALITIES
Your work hours are between 10 – 20 hours a week, with the possibility to work even more during vacations and less during your exams. You will be expected to work on location for one full day per week as a minimum. Your primary work location will be at our office in Aarhus, but field trips to our other locations will be arranged for you to meet your stakeholders and get familiar with the business.
