About the Role:
A WILLI APS is seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to oversee the installation of prefabricated pipework for a boiler room on a large-scale pharma project in Denmark. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, specifically in the installation of pipework, and will be responsible for managing a team of skilled labourers, welders, and pipefitters.
The Supervisor will act as the single point of contact between AWILLI and the client, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee and manage the installation of prefabricated pipework, ensuring it adheres to the project’s specifications and schedule.
· Act as the primary point of contact for Mercury Engineering, ensuring clear and timely communication.
· Lead a team of over 40 skilled workers (including foremen, welders, pipefitters, and general operatives), ensuring productivity and quality of work.
· Coordinate with QA/QC inspectors to maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure any quality issues are addressed immediately.
· Plan labour resources according to the project schedule, adjusting workforce as needed during ramp-up and ramp-down periods.
· Resolve any on-site issues, including material shortages, quality control concerns, and logistical challenges, while maintaining close contact with AWILLI agents.
· Ensure safety standards are always upheld.
· Track progress and maintain daily logs to monitor project milestones, constraints, and any obstacles.
Qualifications & Experience:
· 5+ years of experience as a Supervisor/Project Lead in mechanical engineering, with a focus on pipework installation.
· Proven experience managing teams of 40+ workers on large-scale construction or engineering projects.
· Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and manage a diverse workforce.
· A background in QA/QC procedures and ensuring that installations meet industry standards.
· Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices for mechanical installations.
