Supervisor for Mechanical Assembly and Administration

Are you a trained blacksmith, machinist, operator or similar, and do you have a higher education as a technician or mechanical engineer as well as experience in management? And do you want to:

• Be involved in projects from planning to handover and really see the results of your work?

• Travel around 200 days a year?

• Challenge yourself in a position with both administrative and operational responsibility?

We offer a 18–24-month contract.

Work both administratively and operationally

As a supervisor, you are involved in all phases of the projects, both when processing service orders and building new plants. You will be responsible for both administrative tasks and management of assembly tasks on construction sites. Specifically, your primary tasks consist of:

• Planning and managing assembly tasks

• Ensuring that safety and environmental regulations are complied with

• Coordinating with internal and external suppliers

• Reporting assembly progress and participating in construction meetings

• Preparing assembly and welding documentation

• Conducting ongoing financial follow-up and costing of tasks

Your daily workplace is construction sites primarily in Europe and Asia, which is why you must be prepared for flexible working hours and around 200 travel days per year. We work in shifts, which can last up to 4 weeks at a time depending on the type of task. You are generally affiliated with our office in Esbjerg or alternatively our office in Taastrup.

Work internationally

You can look forward to a challenging position where you play a central role in the assembly work on our construction sites. You must therefore be able to oversee many concurrent tasks, and we expect you to be able to take on management responsibility for a team on site as well as subcontractors. In an outgoing daily life with many internal and external contact surfaces, you have ample opportunity to shape your position.

Experienced manager with a craftsman and technical background

• You have a craftsman education as a blacksmith, machine operator, etc., preferably with a superstructure as a technician or machinist - and it is a clear advantage if you have experience from the energy and boiler industry.

• You have a minimum of 5 years of practical experience and preferably 3-5 years of management experience.

• You are an experienced IT user and are fluent in Danish and English in writing and speaking. If you speak one or more other European languages, it is an advantage.

• You have a flair for administrative tasks in connection with assembly.

As a person, you have good communication and collaboration skills, and you are outgoing and can get along in a team. Since you will have a broad contact surface, it is important that you work well with colleagues from other countries and that you can maintain an overview. Finally, you thrive on a combination of administrative tasks and assembly work at sites around Europe and Asia.
