The Position

As a Supply Chain Project Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and optimizing supply chains for new Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs), directly impacting the launch and delivery of our upcoming products. This role requires strong collaboration and a strategic mindset to build an efficient and reliable supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement robust supply chain processes in collaboration with CMOs and internal stakeholders.
• Establish clear roles and communication channels to ensure seamless coordination between Novo Nordisk and CMOs.
• Optimize warehousing and transport strategies, balancing risk analysis, warehouse capacity, and business needs.
• Ensure timely delivery of critical test materials throughout the project phase.
• Facilitate a smooth transition to the Supply Chain Planner for ongoing operational collaboration with CMOs.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to enhance operational excellence, drive cost optimization, and reduce supply chain complexity. You will gain broad exposure to Novo Nordisk’s product portfolio while collaborating with international CMOs and cross-functional teams, including Master Data, Sourcing, Logistics & Distribution, and Quality Assurance.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you ideally:

• Hold a master’s degree in supply chain management, production engineering, or a related field.
• Have solid experience in supply chain management within a regulated industry.
• Bring proven expertise in project management, preferably in process setup or standardization.
• Are fluent in both written and spoken English.

In addition to possessing strong communication skills, you proactively approach your daily tasks and effectively manage your own time, enjoying challenges and adeptly crafting solutions to bring structure. You efficiently work independently, take ownership for your work with many simultaneous tasks and changing priorities. To excel in this role, you need to be agile and able to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.

About the department

You will be a part of our Supply Chain department GCM DP area. GCM DP Supply Chain has two main responsibilities: establishing supply chains for new CMOs - this is where this position is located and managing purchase planning for existing CMOs - overseeing supply chain after handover to operations.

We collaborate closely with colleagues in the wider GCM DP, Contract Manufacturers (CMOs) and several stakeholders from within the central supply chain organization. You will join an international team of 15-17 highly motivated and talented Supply Chain professionals who encourage each other’s professional development and value a positive and fun work environment.
