Supply Chain & Quality Coordinator

YOUR TEAM
You will join VILA's Supply Chain Management team consisting of 3 colleagues, which is part of a dedicated sourcing and buying department with 55 passionate colleagues. The department is characterized by a fun, collaborative, and informal work environment with a focus on personal and professional development. 
As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with suppliers to ensure product quality, sustainability, and the implementation of new regulations. You will also work alongside our Sustainability Responsible team member, reflecting our growing focus on responsible sourcing and sustainability initiatives. Furthermore, you will work closely with BESTSELLER's global sourcing offices and suppliers located in different countries. 

YOUR JOB
In this role, you will take on important responsibilities within the supply chain, focusing on quality assurance and supplier development. You will act as a key link between our suppliers, sourcing offices, and internal stakeholders to ensure high standards and efficient communication.

More specifically, your tasks will involve:

Organizing meetings and preparing materials and PowerPoints.

Responding to claim requests, being in a dialogue with our suppliers and arranging potential warehouse for quality checks.

Coordinating, participating in meetings, and sharing relevant information with buyers, suppliers, and sourcing offices.

Visiting suppliers in relation to supplier development and quality assurance.

Maintaining and securing valid data on our supply chain

YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for someone who is passionate about supplier collaboration, quality assurance, and sustainability. You enjoy creating structure and ensuring data accuracy while working closely with suppliers. You are detail-oriented, comfortable with administrative tasks, and eager to learn and develop in the field of supply chain management. We are looking for someone who brings the following qualifications:

Basic knowledge of the garment industry and textile materials. You can for example come from a position within buying, pattern design, have worked in a clothing store etc. 

Experience in a supporting role is an advantage.

Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
