We are seeking a highly motivated Support Engineer to join our international team, with colleagues in the US, Denmark, UK, and India. We are now looking for a new member to join us in the US, preferably in the Atlanta area.
In this role, you will work on complex customer issues across the whole incident management cycle, from initial reporting to resolution and review. You will work with both cloud and on-premise environments, collaborating with other departments to deliver exceptional customer support services according to SLAs and other contractual obligations.
Your responsibilities:
- Investigate, reproduce, and resolve incidents, incl. communicating with customers and internal stakeholders; perform analysis and troubleshooting activities incl. log analysis; and system, application, network and database profiling.
- Run and facilitate meetings with customers
- Escalate tickets internally for further investigation and/or bug fixing, ensuring follow-up, alignment, and all customer communication
- Stay up-to-date with our product releases and related technology, through briefs, training and self-study
- Maintain the license server and issue licenses for customers
Your profile:
- 1 – 2 years of experience in a customer-focused technical support role, ideally with an enterprise software vendor
- Relevant IT education, such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Open-minded and enjoy communicating
- Experience in collaborating closely with development teams and customers in an international setup
- Excellent problem-solving skills, an analytical mindset, and high attention to detail
- ITIL-certified or willing to obtain ITIL certification
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Cloud service is an advantage
