Sushi Chef
We are seeking a passionate and experienced sushi chef to join our dynamic team at YoYo Restaurantionsselskab ApS. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of traditional sushi-making techniques and flavor profiles, with the ability to innovate and adapt dishes to suit a modern palate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and crafting of a wide variety of traditional and contemporary sushi dishes from the restaurant's existing menu.
- Ensure high quality and consistency in all sushi preparations.
- Contribute to the development and renewal of the sushi menu.
- Monitor kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a sushi chef, with a focus on sushi and Japanese cuisine.
- Competence in sushi-making techniques, including nigiri, sashimi, maki, and others.
- In-depth knowledge of sushi ingredients, including fish, rice, and condiments.
- Creativity and innovation in developing new sushi dishes and menus.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene principles
