Sustainability Reporting Specialist

As a Sustainability Reporting Specialist, you are responsible for leading and structuring the continuous process of developing and implementing sustainability reporting in Energi Danmark. You will ensure the necessary competencies within sustainable reporting to support sustainable product development for our customers.

YOUR MISSION

In this role, your mission is to:

• Continue Energi Danmark’s ongoing work with double materiality assessment
• Drive the implementation of CSRD reporting based on DMA process towards the financial year of 2025
• Conduct GAP analysis and translate EFRAG standards to internal accounting practices
• Structure forward-looking data collection for CSRD reporting in collaboration with our Reporting department
• Support internal training in sustainability reporting in Energi Danmark
• Support development of green products and solutions for customers with a focus on value creation in the new reporting standards

You will work closely with Andreas, Head of ESG and have close collaboration with our Reporting department regarding the preparation of internal accounting standards. You will also collaborate externally with our owner’s sustainability departments, Andel Holding and NRGI. Additionally, Andel Holding has a sustainability network for their group that you will also be a part of.

Furthermore, you will be collaborating with our VP for Commercial Excellence regarding product reviews and new product developments. This will contribute to maximizing client value creation with respect to the new sustainability reporting standards and continue coordinating with the relevant stakeholders across the organization.
 

YOUR PROFILE

To be a success in this role your professional competencies could preferably be summed up with:

• Previous experience with CSRD reporting, and/or related sustainability reporting framework e.g. SFDR or EU taxonomy
• Structured and systematical approach to problem solving
• Experience with implementation of reporting processes
• Commercial flair and understanding to access new initiatives relevant to the overall strategy
• Background in business e.g. master’s in business administration or a relevant background in a suitable sustainability field e.g. Master in Circular economy or Climate Change from the University of Copenhagen or a background similar to these.

As a person you:

• Are a strong communicator of sustainability topics and requirements also when engaging with stakeholders from other fields of expertise
• Naturally engage with stakeholders from other departments
• Work in a structured manner and naturally take responsibility for your tasks

YOUR NEW TEAM

You will become a part of a newly established ESG team and have the opportunity to help shape the culture and work of the department. Given that we are a smaller team in growth there will be plenty of opportunity to take and gain responsibility for tasks within your work area while making great impact on the organizational structure and development within sustainability reporting.

Your new manager works in a structured manner and naturally wants to delegate tasks. This gives you full ownership of your processes with continuous support and alignment together with him. It is also valued that you communicate openly about capabilities, competences, potential weaknesses, and ability to meet deadlines – which allows for better planning and time management in the team.
