Play a key role in network operations

We have an exciting opportunity in EG, where you will have a key role in the EG Healthcare business unit.

We are seeking a driven and experienced System Specialist to join our application operations team (AOT). You will be working alongside a team of dedicated professionals based in Kolding, Denmark or Bergen, Norway, reporting to the Team Manager (TM).

In this role, you will bring your expertise in network design, management, and troubleshooting to support EG Healthcare’s customer SaaS solutions. We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of network infrastructure who can ensure its smooth operation while driving improvements.

At AOT we focus on removing dependencies on development teams, allowing developers to concentrate on new features while we optimize and maintain a stable, high-performing application platform. You will act as a proxy and advisor in network-related design, best practices and troubleshooting between internal and external stakeholders for our business unit.

Who are you?

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with network infrastructure and thrives in a role where both technical expertise and collaboration matter.

To succeed in this role, we believe you are service-minded, structured in your approach, and a strong communicator who can analyze complex issues and work effectively with others.

Moreover, we expect the following from you:

• Domain knowledge about software in healthcare sector in NO and DK is preferred.
• Experience working with containerized technologies like Kubernetes or Service Fabric is preferred.
• Curious on product knowledge and how our applications impact other important systems.
• Network architecture design.
• IP management and segmentation.
• Network and routing to/from other external parties on-prem or in cloud.
• Monitor and respond to alerts and incidents in Zabbix/Betterstack/Azure/Grafana.
• Troubleshooting network, VPN, firewall and routing related new requirements or issues.
• Sonicwall firewall, Azure Firewall, Fortigate VDOMs.
• Experience from public cloud; Azure, AWS as well as private cloud datacenters.
• Microsoft certified on Azure Networking (AZ-500) is preferred.
