The position
As Associate Manager of the MPP Recovery team, you will lead a team responsible for daily operations in our recovery facility working closely together with our cultivation and purification team. You will primary be responsible for the recovery of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) for phase 1, 2 and 3 studies.
Your team consists of 14 employees (scientists and technicians) who are preparing, conducting, and reporting API production campaigns in close collaboration with the development and production areas of Novo Nordisk. Furthermore, you will join a growing area preparing for taking in more exciting development projects and expanding capacity for the supply of our portfolio.

As Associate Manager you will be part of the leadership team in CMC MPP, which is composed of 1 Director, 4 Associate Managers and an administrative coordinator that meets frequently, support each other, and routinely use each other as sparring partners.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need a technical background, master’s degree or PhD in science/technology, biochemical/chemical engineering, pharmacy, or other relevant fields. Furthermore, you will need:

As part of Novo Nordisk PSQIT organisation, Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Development & Scaling makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture and distribute drug candidates for clinical trials and have a strong culture with a “can do” mind-set.
The CMC Mammalian Pilot Plants department is organised within CMC API Pilots and support Novo Nordisk’s important strategic projects within our mammalian platform.
