Role Overview:

We are seeking a Tech Lead to join our dynamic team full-time. This role goes beyond traditional software development—you will be at the helm of the technical direction for our platform, guiding the team in solving complex challenges as we scale Hamilton to multiple markets over the next 12 months. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and evolution of our AI-powered platform, Hamilton, ensuring scalability, reliability, and robustness as we expand into new markets.

• Define and drive the technical roadmap in collaboration with the leadership team, aligning it with the company's strategic goals.

• Mentor and guide a team of developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Architect scalable systems to support multi-market operations, tackling complex challenges head-on.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, political analysts, and product managers, to integrate innovative features and enhance the user experience.

• Establish and enforce best practices for coding, testing, deployment, and system monitoring.

• Evaluate and incorporate new technologies and methodologies to keep our platform at the cutting edge of innovation.

  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven leadership experience in software development, with a track record of mentoring and guiding teams.

• Strong technical expertise in TypeScript, React, Next.js, Postgres, and Prisma, with a deep understanding of building scalable and performant architectures.

• Experience in AI and machine learning concepts or a strong interest in leveraging these technologies is a plus.

• Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical challenges and deliver impactful results.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels.

• A collaborative mindset with the confidence to challenge existing practices constructively and propose innovative solutions.
