Join our team as a Technical Accountant in either Copenhagen or Aarhus, where you’ll collaborate with our IFRS partner and co-founder on a range of technical accounting projects such as conversions from local GAAP to IFRS, business combinations (M&A), financial instruments etc.

Guide clients through the transition from local accounting standards (e.g. Danish GAAP) to IFRS, providing support throughout the implementation process. This is typically in connection with an IPO, foreign private placement etc.
Advise on complex transactions from a financial reporting perspective including mergers and acquisitions, revenue recognition, leasing, financial instruments, and share-based compensation etc.
Deliver client training on new accounting standards, systems, and processes.
Advise on the preparation of annual and interim financial statements.
Assist clients in implementing hedge accounting strategies and preparing the required hedge documentation.
Provide accounting expertise during ERP implementations, including documenting requirements, preparing test cases, and ensuring smooth finance and IT collaboration.
Assist in due diligence processes, analyzing accounting areas and identifying discrepancies in accounting practices.

You have 5+ years of experience in a similar role within finance or accounting, such as auditor, finance manager, accounting lead, or consultant and want to transition to a technical accounting advisor.
You hold a relevant master’s degree in finance, accounting, or auditing.
Fluency in English.
