Do you want to be part of the team  developing our new production and logistics center? Are you well experienced with technical layout drawing and passionate about people, coordination, and planning? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!At MAN Energy Solutions, we are looking for technical designer or similar to assist us in preparing machine and production layouts for our new production and logistics site, combined with a role as project coordinator and planner.

You will play a crucial role in our project team,handling a variety of tasks including 2D drawings of machines and equipment, 3D modelling for presentations, preparation and follow-up on project milestone plans, coordination with the team, and assisting with management presentations and project documentation. Your expertise will help us create optimal spaces for people and technology in our future production and warehouse facilities.

You will play an important role in:

• 2D technical layouts and 3D modelling.
• Project planning and coordination with the team.
• Preparation of high-level management presentations and documentation.
• Ensuring stakeholder involvement and sign-offs.
• Factory and warehouse layout ownership.
• Collection of data and layout requirements.
• Ensuring integrity in layout.
• Interfaces and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

We imagine that you:

• Have a positive approach and the appetite to work with a large interface of people.
• Have a background as technical designer/assistant, production technologist or similar.
• Have extensive experience with 2D technical layouts and experience with 3D modeling.
• Have experience with factory planning and working in projects.
• Have attention to detail and take ownership for layout accuracy.
• Have a technical insight into production installations.
• Have good collaboration and communication skills.
• Are a team player, who enjoys sharing experience and sustaining organizational learning.

With reference to the Head of Technology you will also be anchored in the technical department with 35 colleagues working with both daily operation and on various projects to improve technology and working environment.

MAN Energy Solutions is relocating our facilities in Copenhagen and Holeby to our new 175.000 m2 plot in Trekroner, Roskilde. The relocation of approximately 2.000 people includes the establishment of a new factory and logistics center of approximately 34.000 m2 for our 350 colleagues. The factory produces parts for two-stroke ship engine fuel injection, and the logistic center supplies parts globally for the new and aftersales market.
