Technical Impact Specialist & Group Manager

This role places you at the heart of our technological advancements within Product Creation, namely TRIOS & SCANNER SW, offering the chance to shape the trajectory of our innovative products and software applications.

To support our Product Creation team, we are looking for a Technical Impact Specialist & Group Manager to drive the strategic alignment of hardware and software integration—ensuring seamless collaboration across engineering, product management, and portfolio management.

About the Role

This role places you at the core of TRIOS & Scanner Software development, where you will shape the trajectory of our advanced dental solutions. As both a technical strategist and team leader, you will:

• Assess and communicate technical impacts—translating product decisions into technical requirements and engineering dependencies.

• Foster collaboration between project managers, product teams, system architects, and technical specialists.

• Ensure technical alignment within and across product streams—evaluating feasibility, risks, and dependencies.

• Data-driven decision-making, balancing technical complexity with business priorities to maximize product value.

• Lead a team of 20 engineers, creating our core 3D reconstruction model from ideation to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Impact Analysis: Evaluate the downstream effects of product decisions on development pipelines, timelines, and system dependencies.

• Cross-Functional Communication: Bridge the gap between engineering, product, system, and project teams to ensure strategic alignment across products.

• Risk & Feasibility Assessment: Identify risks and dependencies, enabling informed trade-offs in product and technical decision-making.

• Group Leadership: Manage a team of specialists who analyze, assess, and communicate technical impacts across the organization.

• Strategic Roadmap Alignment: Support product and portfolio management by providing insights on technical feasibility, scalability, and long-term innovation strategy.

What You Bring

• A strong technical background in engineering, software development, or a related field.

• Experience in technical strategy, impact analysis, or R&D leadership.

• Great communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

• Recognized leadership experience with engineering teams and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.

• Experience in digital health, MedTech, or dental innovation enhances your qualifications.
