Technical Lead / Electronics Engineer with Embedded & Software Skills – Wearable Tech Startup

Are you excited about electronics, embedded systems, and software integration? Do you want to shape the future of smart wearables? At Trace, we are developing an innovative wearable tracking service - our first product is a smart ring that alerts users via vibration when a valuable item moves beyond a preset boundary.

Now, we’re looking for a Technical Lead with a background in electronics engineering or embedded software development, who also has experience in hardware/software integration. This is a project-based position with the potential to grow into a CTO and/or Co-founder role.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are searching for a candidate with strong skills in at least one of the following areas:

• Electronics development: Component selection, circuit design, PCB layout, and prototyping.

• Embedded software: Programming for microcontrollers, firmware development, and low-power optimization.

• Wireless communication: Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and low-power connectivity solutions.

• Software integration: Ensuring seamless communication between hardware and mobile applications.

• Wearable technology experience (preferred but not required).

We understand that candidates may have strengths in either electronics or software - if you have expertise in one area and curiosity and willingness to grow in the other, we encourage you to apply!

Most importantly, we need someone who is entrepreneurial, hands-on, and ready for a challenge.
