Technical Publications Specialist

Ensure the development of technical documentation

Your main responsibility will be to lead the design and development of high-quality customer-oriented technical documentation, including operator, maintenance, and system manuals for radar systems.

Furthermore, you will:

• Structure and organize technical information to create manuals that are coherent and easy to understand
• Collaborate with technical experts and other technical writers to translate complex concepts into clear and concise content
• Monitor and enforce documentation standards and guidelines
• Research technical specifications, gather information from specialists, and test procedures on actual systems
• Analyze content feedback and make improvements to optimize user experience.

About you

You have +5 years of experience as a Technical Publications Specialist from an engineering organization, preferably within the defense industry. You have the ability to create a bridge between technically complex products and documentation that is easily understandable for the end user. Your strength lies in translating both traditional and innovative concepts into clear and engaging content.

• Your professional CV includes:
• Excellent communication skills, in English, both oral and written, Danish is an advantage but not a requirement
• Proficient with structured data documentation, including XML
• Knowledge/experience in S1000D and Simplified Technical English (STE)
• Ability to lead and coordinate documentation projects

Your new team

You will join our Aftermarket team where we are more than 20 competent and dedicated colleagues. We work with a wide variety of tasks from field service engineering and customer care to integrated logistic support management. Our work environment is informal and we work closely together across the different technical areas of expertise in the team.
