For 65+ years, we have partnered with top international manufacturers of ingredients, chemicals, and additives. As a family-owned business with 30 employees, Alsiano prioritizes accessibility for our customers. We have a strong presence in the Nordic countries, serving customers from our offices in Birkerød, Gothenburg, and Helsinki.

We are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Manager in Denmark to develop our customer base in the Nordic countries within the Industrial segments. This role offers a unique opportunity to expand your expertise and become a specialist in our business areas. The Position
You will be responsible for your customer portfolio within the Household, Industrial Cleaning, Paint, and Coating industries, primarily in Denmark, but also in other Nordic countries. You will sell ingredients used within Household, Industrial Cleaning, Paint, and Coating. Your focus will be on existing customers as well as identifying new relevant customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Qualifying and mapping both potential and existing customers.
  • Conducting customer visits to identify potential and explore new business opportunities, preparing offers, negotiating prices, and following up on projects.
  • Delivering technical product presentations and solutions during customer meetings, webinars, etc.
  • Collaborating closely with key suppliers and initiating new supplier relationships by spotting trends and market needs.
  • Participating in relevant webinars, exhibitions, seminars, and other customer-related events.
  • Proactively working on your sales planning in a structured manner.

You drive the entire sales process independently: You take pride in building your pipeline, arranging meetings, and preparing offers. A significant portion of your time will involve customer visits and communication via webinars, phone, etc. You analyze customer needs, goals, problems, challenges, and opportunities, and advise customers on how Alsiano's solutions can positively impact their products and business, ultimately closing sales. To address your customers' challenges, you work closely with your suppliers, for whom you share responsibility with your colleagues.

Our ideal candidate is:

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have at least 3-5 years of experience in technical B2B sales, combined with a technical education. You must effectively engage with our customers, work independently, and possess strong energy and self-motivation. You have excellent negotiation and communication skills in Danish as well as English. Experience selling raw materials and ingredients to the technical industries is an advantage.

Our Offer
You will become a crucial part of our Nordic Industrial team, where you will work closely with colleagues in the other Nordic countries and report directly to the Head of Nordic Sales, Industrial Solutions, in Gothenburg.

This is a challenging position in a friendly environment where we help each other develop and create value. We value a flexible work environment where occasional home office days are possible, but we prefer that our new team member primarily works from our friendly office in Birkerød to fully integrate into our collaborative team. Expect some travel, primarily in Denmark, and across other EU countries, approximately 40-45 days annually.
