Tender Manager for EPC

Your position: 
As a Tender Manager for EPC, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing and quality assurance of tenders within the Renewables. This is from receipt of Invitation to Tender (ITT) to contract/project handover, in accordance with time schedules and clients’ expectations and requirements.

In this role, you will be expected to establish and maintain a strong and close collaboration with our partners located in Southern Europe and Asia. The position is full-time, and your work location can be either at our office in Esbjerg or Copenhagen. You should expect up to 30 travel days annually.

Your tasks & responsibilities: 

Your overall responsibility will be to ensure that EPC tenders are conducted in accordance with company guidelines and industry best practice and that they are in line with corporate goals and objectives. Furthermore, you will be given the following tasks and responsibilities: 

• Manage and coordinate the assigned EPC tenders 
• Communication and coordination with all stakeholders and partners 
• Perform review of ITT and organize internal workshops to develop the technical solution, including identification and incorporation of risks and opportunities 
• Support on commercial and legal issues 
• Prepare and participate the internal approvals, customer clarifications and contract negotiation 
• Designing the execution plan together with solution engineers, project planner and tender team 
• Supporting and adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards, in all activities 

Your profile & qualifications  

We are looking for an outgoing and positive structured Tender manager who is passionate about offshore wind and eager to contribute to the energy transition. You have a proactive and organized approach to your work and thrive in a collaborative environment. 

To be successful in this position, we expect that you will be able to reach business and project goals by successful tender development in compliance with Semco’s process and key stakeholder requirements. Furthermore, we expect the following: 

• Education as B.sc or M.sc of Engineering, Marine Engineer or other relevant education 
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the offshore industry 
• Experience as tender manager and legal knowledge within contracts 
• Fluent in English 
• You are an empathic and confident team player 
• You have a structured and flexible approach and proactive participation in project activities 
• Adherence to the correct contract document structure within project systems and tools 
• Ability to plan own assignments and deliver on time 
• Willingness to speak up and highlight potential risks and areas for improvement
