What's the role

We are seeking a Trade Manager to drive sales growth and strenghten Hilti's market leadership. In this strategic role, you’ll develop and execute long-term sales strategies within your customer segment (trades), and oversee the launch of new products. Additionally, you’ll play a critical role in advancing the Trade Competence Center – a pioneering initiative in Hilti Denmark aimed at enhancing our sales team’s trade expertise and sales capabilities. As a key connector between our local operations and the Northern European region, you’ll work closely with senior management to align strategic goals and accelerate business growth.

What does the role involve?

As a Trade Manager, you’ll play a leading role in shaping our market strategy, driving revenue growth and ensuring our sales force is equipped with the necessary competencies. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead product launches : Manage the entire product launch process, including strategy development, pricing, event organization, and team training, ensuring successful market introduction and ongoing success.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies : Create and execute comprehensive sales strategies for your trade segment, working closely with senior management to align both local and regional objectives. Your focus will be on increasing sales and expanding Hilti's presence in the market.
  • Advance the Trade Competence Center : Drive the development of the Trade Competence Center to strengthen our sales team’s trade competencies and skills.
  • Engage with the market : Collaborate with sales teams to engage directly with customers, identify market needs, and gather insight. Use this feedback to refine product offerings and strategies.
  • Foster collaboration : Act as a critical link between our national team and the Northern European region, ensuring effective coordination and execution of product launches and sales initiatives.
  • Provide support and coaching : Offer ongoing coaching and support to colleagues, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge needed to drive sales growth and execute sales strategies effectively.
  • Analyze trends : Leverage your analytical skills to interpret market data, identify trends, and present actionable insights through business cases to senior management that contribute to increased sales and market expansion.

    What you need is:

  • A master’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in sales or marketing, with some years in a senior role, and a proven track record in B2B or solution selling and leading complex product launches.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and execute long-term sales strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive strategic decisions based on market trends and data.
  • Proven experience in managing change and driving innovation in a dynamic market.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • A history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering strategic goals.
  • Proficiency in Danish and English.
