Traffic Management System is a subsystem providing a set of advanced features for railway traffic automation and regulation. It is the main Traffic Control Centre subsystem and can be scope of standalone project or platform level contract. These systems provide railway operators advanced automation and decision support functions to plan, regulate, automate and optimize the train traffic circulation on complex network. These systems are based on special software application, normally running on IT infrastructure/datacenter specially designed for business continuity and mission critical application.
Could you be the full-time System Engineer – Customer Traning Facility Support in Copenhagen we’re looking for?

As a System Engineer your main focus will be on the customer tarining facility and its maintaing up runing and up to date as per the Project System roadmap.
Main Responsibilities:
Traning Facility Management:
- Work closely with the offshore training manager to ensure the coordination between the training room project migration activities, and the customer training activities.
- With the System Project Engineer Manager, Participate to the system baseline delivery review to ensure the availability of the SW an documentation package for the training migration release.
- Support the project planning manager to plan and maintain up to date the training migration activities including HW and SW installation and configuration.
- Support the contract Manager for the solution elaboration and it costing of any change request impacting the training room.
- Manage and execute the change request in coordination with multidisciplinary teams including design, procurement, materiel suppliers, and material installers.
Customer Training Room :
- Coordinate and support the IT operation designer for the installation and maintenance of IT infrastructure (HW and SW) of training migration activities.
- Execute the deployment and configuration of the SW training System Baseline including simulation tools and scenario scripts.
- Monitor and test applications’ performance for potential issue, identify possible solution and report any defects in the project defect management tool.
- Maintain and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure (hardware, software, network) to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Provide technical support to the customer trainer during training session.

- Degree in Engineering (Electronics and Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics and communication) or relevant.
- Hands-on experience in Mainline/Urban/Passenger and Transit railway signalling and any of the signalling subsystems such as train control systems, wayside interlocking and supervision systems, and Mainline/Urban Traffic Planning and management System worked on Signalling Design including Installation, Testing, and Commissioning.
- Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows-based environments.
- Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box, HyperV).
- Experience with monitoring systems and basic scripting skills.
- Basic networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).
- Fluent in English reading, writing, and speaking.
